Senator Antonio Trillanes IV on Saturday blasted President Rodrigo Duterte for taking "power naps" during the ASEAN Summit and missing six out of summit's 11 events, saying that the attitude showed the chief executives' lack of discipline and respect for his duty.

In an interview with dwIZ radio, Trillanes said the power naps were no excuse for Duterte as other country leaders had attend the events.

"Unang-una eh 'di sana inagahan niya ang alis, sana nakarating sila the night before.

Trillanes said Duterte's attitude indicated that either he is sick, or he is an irresponsible leader of the country.

"Dalawa lang 'yan, it's either malubha ang kalagayan niya o talagang tamad siya at iresponsable, kasi 'di ka naman pumunta diyan as Duterte, you went there as Duterte representing the Philippines. Dito mo makikita na talagang walang kadisi-disiplina itong taong ito, walang respect for any authority, regulation or duty."

Also, Trillanes slammed Duterte for mishandling Davao, making it the "most dangerous city in the Philippines."

"'Di siya ginastusan para matulog. Ito kasi pang heads of state ito. 'Yung ibang heads of state andu'n, pero si Duterte dati na yang ganiyan. Kaya nga Davao most dangerous city in the Philippines, pinakamaraming rape 'yan sa Pilipinas."

Trillanes also hit former Davao City vice mayor Paolo "Pulong" after his father Duterte said his son is running for Congress only to get back at him.

Trillanes likened Pulong to his father.

The senator last year accused the younger Duterte of being a part of a triad during a Senate hearing in connection with the P6.4 billion worth of shabu shipment smuggled into the country from China last May.

According to Trillanes, the membership of Pulong Duterte in a triad could be proven by a colored, dragon-like tattoo on his back.

But Pulong ignored Trillanes' demand to show the tattoo.
