Albayalde on Wednesday revealed his plan to meet with the people behind the series led by the actor Coco Martin portraying Cardo Dalisay.
He’s also planning to file an appeal to the Movie and Television Review Classification Board (MTRCB) and review the ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ for the noticeable bad portrayal on PNP.
“We will be writing both the production outfit and the MTRCB (Movie and Television Review Classification Board). We want to probably have an audience and probably kung hindi man nila matigil yun e mabago man lang yung pagpoportray sa PNP,” said Albayalde.
According to him, ‘Ang Probinsiyano’ portrayed the PNP Chief as corrupt and abusive police who only wanted to destroy the vigilante group Vendetta led by Coco Martin.
He said that what’s happening in the series cannot happen in real life, however, the televiewers were sometimes being brainwashed by what they’re watching, believing that the PNP could do abusive things.
“Para kasing ang nakikita ng mga tao na parang instant yung justice, parang it’s okay. It’s not. We are a nation of laws not of men,” he added.
Albalyalde also complained that the series even portrayed the President of the Philippines as a bad person.
The President of the Philippines in the Teleserye is being played by actor Edu Manzano who’s abusive in his power.
“Masyadong hindi na pangkaraniwan na nangyayari and it gives us a bad impression actually,” he added.
He also insisted that there’s no bad person led the PNP in its history.
“Yung the Chief PNP himself is a villain hindi naman po siguro kailanman nangyari sa amin. In reality, well hindi pwedeng mangyari yan,” said Albayalde.
“Let’s be realistic, kung yan ay isang teleserye na pwedeng mangyari sa pang-araw-araw natin na buhay medyo malayo naman yung Chief PNP himself na siya ang kontrabidang lumalabas besides doon sa sinabi ko nga na masyadong makapal yung buhok niya,” added Albayalde.
