Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa sa Otso Diretso "Baka wala silang ginagawa, wala silang trabaho kaya palaging naghahamon ng Debate"

Senatorial candidate Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa had this to say amid a debate challenge posed by opposition's Otso Diretso.

"Baka wala silang ginagawa, wala silang trabaho kaya palaging naghahamon ng debate.
Kami busy kami sa pangangampanya," he said Friday as he made a whistle-stop in Cagayan de Oro City.

The former Philippine National Police chief, who was once at the forefront of President Rodrigo Duterte's war on d*ugs, said he will push for the restoration of the death penalty for d*ug traffickers if he is elected in the midterm polls.

"Walang d*ug traffickers na small time, puro man big-time ang d*ug traffickers. Sila 'yung nagpabaha ng sh4bu dito sa Pilipinas," he said.

Dela Rosa said he will not curry favor from politicians allegedly involved in the d*ug trade in his campaign.

"Makakain ba ng konsensiya ko, porke malakas siyang kandidato pagka-congressman o governor, lalapit ako at makipag-plastikan at sabihing tulungan ako, bigyan ako ng boto. Hindi ko talaga kaya," he said.

Dela Rosa is part of the President's national party, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan, and Hugpong ng Pagbabago, the regional party of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.
